Big Brother update week 3

It is Thursday night and that means Big Brother eviction night. 

As an avid fan, watching the season from 1 to current, never missed an episode of USA or Can versions.

I get it, these new crew are young and it is a new season where things get going real fast. That being said, it is only week 3 and these HG's have really been playing too hard too fast. As a result they are using their hearts instead of their head because it is easy to see that the Veto will always be used when you have an additional challenge you must compete in before you really know the final 2 that are sitting on the block for eviction.

They are only now starting to talk about the back door process by NOT placing the person you want evicted on Thursday to be on the nomination during veto day. 

The fact that it happens on week 3 and Lauren has actually placed the wrong person on t he replacement nomination, and now with Will thinking he is likely safe (because he is going by his known safety players) but Lauren telling the 'other side's that she feels wrong with her choice, lit a fire under them.

I say this because it is very easy to see how production is asking the 'right questions' to each HG in the DR so that it places these ideas and questions in each of their heads, the way Jimmy does by stating things the way he does.  I'm always blown away by the way he says things and then walks out of the room and they don't shake their head and question it or laugh it off (like they do when Keanu comes in the room and actually tells the truth which nobody believes anyway). They actually believe what Jimmy is saying without going to each HG that he just threw under the bus. 

In my opinion, as if I were in the game, you must have a good working relationship with everyone. Currently Zach is the only one I can see that is unscathed by this knowledge from others.  Vince has recently been outed so he is likely going to see his name on the block soon if Rachel's crew get a win this week.

So did this cast understand that throwing the veto to Kelley would likely be the only way because there is nobody better than Adrian and Lauren did not want to be the deciding factor breaking a tie.. so what is the results?...

Vince votes for Adrian so the house obviously will be voting together

Mickey Is next so she votes out Adrian

Keanu votes out Will

Kat votes out Will because she is on the side that doesn't know.. 

Reiley also votes out Will

This is someone on the other side and so it is official before even seeing any more will have everyone voting out Adrian so that they don't .. we see Adrian speaking with Keanu and he votes out Will so he is completely out of the loop and the house figures it is best to keep it that way..they really did have the votes if Lauren would have broken the tie but for whatever reason they figured this is the best.. and it is because how long can you keep going off of the fact that Adrian's family could use the money the most out of everyone and if you don't get rid of him soon then when do you?  This is the second chance but first real chance and just like Zai, they realize they might as well get rid of the ones that they know they CAN't beat!

From the beginning of the vote, when Will has to speak and breaks down in tears.. it is because they both know the results ahead of time. This is why everyone stayed away from Adrian during the moments before the vote and only Keanu getting grilled by Adrian which is pointless because he already had Keanu.  Counting the votes afterwards, if Morgan, Zach and Vince would have voted to save their friend, it would have meant Lauren having to break a tie which is what she didn't want to do because she was 'afraid of the blowback from the other side' as they would have been drawing that line in the sand which is already there but not yet visible publicly. My guess is production has a lot to do here during the last day or so, wanting to make 'good television' when they season already sucks from an overall viewership point of view.  It is just so obvious that it is the sponsorship that should be saving this televised game (thus the 90 minute shows to allow for more commercials), but instead of utilizing things like BB Can did (providing the HG's with electric toothbrushes) (having doordash or equivalent providing meals) and other native ads that could quite easily not take away from the game.  The fact that life feeders get 'what used to be fish' is now a moving portrait which is what anyone with an apple computer will see on their screensaver and desktop backgrounds, whenever some non-sponsored thing is said (like Nike, where HG's say they couldn't bring anything in with Nike logo) there is no tacky tape yet if you remember those in previous years with tattoos that had marketing slogans or statements that were 'negatively viewed by CBS viewers'.  Pathetic!

It is safe to say the new cast, and future cast will all be playing this sort of game.. and that is why I say this game is over from a tv point of view. They don't care about the live feeders ever even though you have to have a paid subscription to still see the live feeds so why not make it part of the show still.. they don't, other than the vote for VIP from the so-called votes.. 

Just one year I wish they would bring in nothing but live feader goats like myself.. yes it would be an old crew so go ahead and place some previous almost winners..

Oh, and one more production note.. you see how programs like Survivor, Amazing Race and Big Brother all have 90 minute episode is only because they need more advertising time.
