Not bad for a quick snap from my camera on my phone when out shopping and such.

 I'm a firm believer in ratings and reviews online. The more believable they can be with a photo.. as they do say a photo is worth 3 million views!

Once In A Blue Moon!

 I just learned that I won $75 in last nights lottery draw. I had 4 out of the 6 numbers but because they throw in the bonus number you really do not get to see the money until you reach 5 numbers. Oh well, it was once in a blue moon that I win and wouldn't you know it, last night was a blue moon! Things are looking up... I woke up and realized I gained an hour so my sleeping in didn't seem so obvious :-) Then I learn of my windfall.. it makes my reason to stop and enjoy the scenery that much more important.

Happy Shortest Day of the Year!

Today being December 21 means in the Northern Hemisphere we are experiencing the shortest day of the year.. Which means the least amount of daylight. For those in the Southern Hemisphere it is the opposite of course. But for now, I'm living in the North so I can experience this once a year deal where most people seem rather depressed by the shortness of daylight. On a positive note, we are now going the other direction so from this day forward, at least until the Summer Solstice, we can experience more daylight each and every day. So if you happen to be up to a foot of snow already where you live, just know that soon you won't have to turn on the light to see where you are going shortly after 5pm! photo credit
